The pide shown above was a vegetarian version, filled with cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and sweet green peppers. You can usually find other versions of pide, such as spinach and sausage as well. This picture was taken in a restaurant in Cappadocia, a region in the heart of Anatolia.

Lahmacun is actually one of the cheapest and easiest to find meals in Turkey. This thin-crust version of Turkish pizza is topped with a sprinkling of beef or lamb meat and spices. Zest with lemon juice, lettuce and tomatoes, and it makes a perfect snack or light meal!
