I’ve always been a fan of KozyShack ride pudding cups (see below), but KozyShack’s got nothing on this sütlaç! It is creamy but super light and airy – the perfect afternoon snack or after dinner dessert – Leila and I even shared it as a sweet ending to our brunch at Sutiş in Emirgan. From my brief observation of Turkish cuisine, it seems to me that Turks prefer pudding or gelatin-like desserts and pastry desserts; as opposed to cake-like ones that might be more common at home. I’m not complaining about the sweets here, but I am feeling a craving coming on for a good oatmeal raisin cookie…
